Children's Language Center
The Children's Language Center of Orange County is a local operating unit of the California Scottish Rite Foundation, a 501(c)3 corporation. Through the efforts of the members of the Valley, our Center has been in operation since 2001, under the leadership of Gina Nimmo, SLP, our Director. She and her staff assess the needs of many children, determining the best course for each, and then provide them with the necessary treatment.

Since 2001, the Children's Language Center of Orange County has provided a family focused environment for children to learn and develop communication skills and build self confidence. We are a non-profit agency serving children in need of speech and language services, all free of charge.

If you can imagine a day without the ability to speak, you can imagine the need we serve. Some children need to overcome particular challenges, others simply need to learn the mechanics of speech. At the Center, we assess their needs and develop a plan for success. Nothing is more uplifting than seeing a child communicate with their family for the first time, or more satisfying than knowing the happiness that comes from a child's first "Hi, Dad" or "I love you, Mom."

We offer complete speech and language diagnostic evaluations for children from age 3, as well as individual and small group speech and language therapy services. We receive referrals from many sources, including parents, schools, agencies, health professionals and other centers.
