From the Personal Representative - April
Greetings to all, I hope this message finds you in good spirits.

I’m sure each of you enjoyed our evening with our Brothers from Shrine. That reminds me, El Bekal is managing a Masonic booth at the Orange County Fair this year. Elsewhere in this newsletter you will find out how you can participate in the worthy undertaking.

Please mark your calendars for the Childhood Language Center Charity Golf Classic to be held on Monday, August 16, 2010. The chairman of the event is Brother Terry Ake, 32°. This is a great opportunity for us to share the Language Center story with others. The very exciting news is that this year we are partnering with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as part of the Liberty Mutual Golf Challenge. This takes our fund raising efforts to a whole new level! I am aware that many of you do not play golf. Well, that’s okay!!! There are many ways in which you can help the Committee. Please contact Terry and learn how you can make a difference!

Our April Stated Meeting will have a unique format. First, we will be honored by the attendance of Very Worshipful Bill Bray, Deputy Grand Master of Masons in California. He will give provide us with input on what’s going on in the Grand Lodge and also some suggestions about membership growth. See you there!

Brothers and friends, you may recall that our Childhood Language Center has a special recognition program. It is called the “365” Club. For a donation of that amount, you will become a member of the special group of people who contribute a dollar a day to support our number one charitable undertaking. Please make your check payable to Santa Ana Childhood Language Center and turn it in at the office.
.
I am very pleased to announce that Brother Gary Whitlock, 32° Has accepted the position of Editor of the Scottish Rite News. Please join me in thanking Brother Whitlock for taking on this important responsibility for our Valley.

Get involved, my Brother; you can make a difference!

Something to ponder -

"Good judgment comes from bad experience and a lot of that comes from bad judgment."

Fraternally,

Ray Godeke, 33°
